Earlier today I accidentally wiped out my enterprise activation on my Blackberry. That wouldn’t be so bad, except that I’m at my Mother-in-Law’s house for Canadian Thanksgiving, and she hasn’t got any internet access. I was depending on my Blackberry to moderate comments on the blog. Now I don’t even have that!
So, if the moderation is a little slow, well, think of me enjoying my Thanksgiving Dinner without being enslaved to my Crackberry. First time in probably three years.Â

When we lived in the United States, Thanksgiving was my favorite holiday. It was one time of the year when you could simply chill out with friends and family over a lovely meal and forget the worries of the day. It helped that the powers that be had wisely decreed it be a four day weekend too! One of our best friends there, Steve and his lovely wife Nikki, used to run an expat’s Thanksgiving. Nikki provided a warm welcome to all their foreign friends, like my family. We would gather at their house, mid-afternoon, for socializing and a fabulous meal. I can still smell the wood-smoked turkey, and taste those amazing pecan pies.
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends, family, and colleagues. Enjoy the holiday!
