The SquawkBox Podcast

The return of the SquawkBox podcast

by alec on January 12, 2009

I’ve got a couple of exciting SquawkBox calls to tell you all about.

First, this Friday January 16th, seven days after the release of the Windows 7 beta, I’ll be hosting a roundtable discussion for people who’ve either tried the beta or are curious about it.  It should be an interesting and fun talk.  Join us on Calliflower for this conference call

Second, on Tuesday January 20th, one day before the end of the eComm early bird registration, I’ll be hosting eComm organizer and founder Lee Dryburgh.  We’re going to be talking a little about what to expect at the show and a little about the future of communications and telephony.  Join us on Calliflower for that conference call with Lee.

Yes, I’ve missed the microphone.

SquawkBox Schedule Sept 15-19

by alec on September 15, 2008

The schedule this week is a test of something I’ve been wanting to do for a while, which is to bring more hosts to the show.  I’m travelling heavily myself, which means that you will have the opportunity to hear from others in the moderators chair!

I’ll be hosting the show Monday and Friday.  Join Yahoo! Community Manager and blogger Robyn Tippins on Tuesday, Dan York live from ITExpo in Los Angeles on Wednesday, and Carl Ford for a talk on regulatory issues on Thursday.

Taking SquawkBox to a new level

August 20, 2008

The SquawkBox started out as an experiment to see what a multi-person podcast would look like.  I was, frankly, curious about podcasting and curious about whether Calliflower could be a good tool for podcasters. SquawkBox has succeeded far beyond what I had originally anticipated, mushrooming into a daily gathering of industry folks, and filling some […]
