Wallingford calls for single sign-on social network infrastructure.

Ted Wallingford takes a shot at walled garden style social networks this morning with his call for a “social network infrastructure that allows many enrollment-based sites to be used with a common access credential”.  That is, of course, what OpenSocial is trying to do, and to a lesser degree Facebook itself.

Still, I agree with Ted that the degree of interaction which Facebook demands of me in order to respond to application invitations is far more than I care to manage.
