Be careful with what you ask for, in reading Jon&#039;s interview as well, having Carrier&#039;s seek new revenue instead of chasing cost reductions might not be to the consumer&#039;s benefit if the economic (and regulatory) models don&#039;t change from today. I may not always want ATT&#039;s version x, y or z, but if its the only way to get an IP address or a wireless connection, then I may have no incentive to use Iotum&#039;s cool stuff. I would almost prefer them to keep chasing the cost reductions so I can get the cheapest, dumb fat pipe possible - no Value Added Services attached. </description>
