A warm, moonlit night.

It’s a clear warm night here. You can even see the stars.  The moon is near full, and low on the horizon which causes the atmosphere to magnify it somewhat.  Another opportunity to take a crack at photographing the moon.  Out comes the tripod and the 300mm lens.   Now, this shot is somewhat artificial.  It’s actually an HDR composite of 5 shots at varying exposures, heavily sharpened.

Not nearly as good as my friend Phil’s photo, though.
