GigaOm’s Robert Young points to a couple of articles about the acceptance of failure and bankruptcy in the US psyche, and how the “opportunity to fail” fosters an environment of entrepreneurship.  Too true.  The US is a fascinating contrast compared to other countries the world over.  That ability to boldly accept risk is perhaps unique.

There have been several pieces on this topic in the last few days.  Are we seeing the beginnings of a Web 2.0 shake-out in the valley?
