Once it becomes possible for people to make SIP calls from one network to another without a pre-existing peering relationship, it becomes possible for malicious users to start flooding those networks with automated calls. Therfore, Is SIP vunerbale to SPIT ?? and what measure are being taken to address these concerns ? an IVR captcha may work at the edge level early adopters, but what about main stream user base moving into the VoIP space ?

Second question: it is rumored that the Yokogawa Electric Corporation is doing some "fun stuff" with VoIP and ipv6.. would the panel care to comment on this speculation ?? :)-
