Wednesday evening, iotum hosted a meeting of Ottawa area Asterisk users, to try to determine whether there was interest in resurrecting the Ottawa Asterisk Users Group. By all accounts it was a resounding success. 34 people showed up, representing business owners, executives, business development people engineers and enthusiasts.  Nearly as many couldn’t show up, as did show up.Â
So, there will be an ongoing Ottawa Asterisk User Group. The next meeting will be June 21, and meetings will be held ont he third Wednesday of each month following that. For now, I’ve offered the iotum board room (which can accomodate about as many people as we had, but not too many more), but members are out looking for larger, more central facilities.
