Rev Up The Dead

I’ve mostly been silent on the Sens /  Sabres series.  It’s been a disaster, and last night was no better. Buffalo simply outplayed Ottawa.  When the puck was in their end, they guarded the net.  At one point Janice complained that they had three goalies!  When the puck was in the Ottawa end, they controlled it.

There’s a lot of speculation in Ottawa that Murray might put Hasek in the lineup tonight.  Will it really matter?  Ottawa’s problem is not goal tending.  Ottawa forwards are taking stupid shots from too far out.  The Ottawa defence is not checking.   Too many turnovers.  And so on…

Hasek or Emery; the choice of a goaltender won’t change the fact that the rest of the team needs to play  better.

Go Sens Go!  Bring it back to Ottawa on Saturday with a win tonight!
