It’s been a little over 24 hours since the dinner which turned out to be beer and finger foods, but we’ll continue to call it dinner so nobody gets confused… References have been turning up on Toronto blogs all over.

Timothy Li – Trying Out My New BB Gun. Tim is a student, who contacted Shel and I last week to ask if he could participate. This is his account of pitching Rick Segal on his idea for a travel venture.

Jim Courtney writes about Shel’s two days in Toronto, and includes some photos he shot at the blogger event.
-
Rob Clark, pleased with the number of contacts he made. Yee Ha! That’s what the event’s about.
Alec Saunders is the Vice President of Developer Relations for BlackBerry make Research in Motion. This is his personal blog, with his personal viewpoints. Prior to this Alec was the CEO and co-founder of Calliflower — the easiest way to hold a meeting, online, on a conference call, or on the go. A double-decade veteran of product management and marketing, he spent nine years at Microsoft where he helped launch Windows 95, the first two versions of Internet Explorer, the Universal Plug and Play initiative, the push into home markets, opt-in email marketing and what might well go down in history as the very first direct email list ever.

Many more thanks to Alec and others for organizing this awesome event. I realized today that I can actually recognize a few more names in blogs now, some I even had the honour to meet during the dinner. I have sent an article to school newspaper regarding the dinner and hopefully will raise more students interests
