I am sitting here in shock. Iotum has won a DEMO God award. At the end of today, after seeing so many amazing demos from so many unbelievable companies, it is totally humbling to have iotum receive this award.
To the iotum team…
To Andy and Brooke at Comunicano…
To Todd and the team at Industrial Media…
To Bob, Daniel, Jacques, Sebastien and the rest of the team at Versatel…
To David, and Coralie…
To Shel and Bill…
To our many advisors…
To Chris Shipley and the entire team at DEMO…
To the bloggers who have been rooting for us…
To our investors…
And to our families and friends who have supported us through this project…
Thank You.
I’ve done a lot of things in my career, but winning this award is probably the highlight.

Everyone here at Versatel are happy to see you made the goal. We worked hard with your team and I must say that their Can Do attitude was a treat. This is what amazing companies are made of.

P.S. Yes, the podcast interview will be posted soon…
Wow, what an amazing accomplishment. Iotum’s mention in today’s Globe deserves more congratulations. Good job!
Thank you all!
Sue – to answer your specific question, the iotum Relevance Engine is applicable to any real time communication. We haven't done IM at this point, but certainly we know that it's as much an interrupter as the phone.
Not having seen you since university, and before that high school, I have to say, “nice demo!”.
Question for you: will the next demo include a scenario around instant messaging? Phones barely ring in my office anymore but IM is the real interrupter these days.
