You can bet every team in the league will be watching the tape of last night’s game between Carolina and Ottawa. Despite outshooting the Canes 35 to 17, the Sens were dealt a 2-1 loss. Carolina has beaten them twice now, and seems to be the only team only team in the league to have solved the Senators. Martin Gerber, the Canes goalie, was excellent, and their defence did a good job of binding up Senators forwards in front of the net and stealing the puck away.
