Tampa 2, Ottawa 4

by alec on November 4, 2005

That was a hard fought game.  The Lightning kept the Sens on their feet the whole night.  Alfredsson was amazing.  At one point, during a 5 on 3, he grabbed a loose puck for a one-handed breakaway, weaving in and out of the Tampa Bay defense all the way down to the net and then roared back to his own end to check Lecavalier after Grahame cleared the puck from Tampa.  Talk about leading by example!

The new rules have really made for some exciting play.
