I am speechless – totally gobsmacked, in fact. Today I discovered a website that keeps business hours. Run by the Government of Canada, the GST Netfile Service is available from 7 AM to 11 PM EST, Monday through Friday, and from 7 AM to 8 PM on Saturday. It’s closed at the other times. Are the bits and bytes at the Canada Revenue Agency unionized?

Crap software that requires an extensive, nightly maintenance routine.
Saw that as well when I went to file…Perhaps they are over-sensitive to live web site monitoring? They are more conservative than bankers!
You think they would state why….come up with some plausible explanation other than not having Citrix analysts available 7×24…?
