Brilliant Marketing    [8:43:31 PM] Whatever your political leaning, you have to admire this effort.  The production cost for this video is negligible.  The impact could be massive.  It portrays Rumsfeld in as unflattering a light as possible, and invites you to forward the video to your friends.  Someone is making use of the propensity [...]

Taking a deep breath    [6:02:22 PM] Today I cut the umbilical cord.  Six months ago I sat Bob Mimeault of Versatel Networks down in a restaurant and told him that I was working on a startup. Bob was terrific.  He told me that he still needed me, but also committed to help me get my company started. Today was my last day [...]

Not yet at the tipping point    [7:33:46 PM] Tipping Point? Not Yet.   Great post from Andy Abramson on the potential for VoIP.  I have to wonder about the last point though… a 16 year old Zinfandel is surely past it’s prime… Me. I’m staying on hooked on Ridge Geyserville, vintage 1988, like I drank [...]

The Day That Cellular Died    [8:55:28 PM] How Canada’s WiFi carriers learned to share. The nail in the coffin for conventional cellular?  Certainly if VoIP takes off. VoIP over WiFi works great.  I use the Xten client on my WiFi PC all the time.
