Net2Phone 2 Franchise

Interesting.  I wonder how many cableco’s will fork over 90% of voice revenues to Net2Phone. VoIP firm Net2Phone starts franchise effort. The Net-phoning company says it has raised $63 million to bankroll a franchise program designed to make it easy for cable service providers to offer voice over Internet Protocol plans.

Vonage raises $35 million

Big money being thrown at this now.  Between SBC last week, and Vonage this week, it’s shaping up to be a major war for the customer. Vonage raises $35 million. The Internet telephone service provider on Monday is expected to announce a $35 million investment earmarked for expansion plans.

Bouchard Finlayson 1998 Kaaimansgat Chardonnay

Kaaimansgat is a South African chardonnay that I picked up a little over a year ago at the LCBO for about $18.  Superb value.  This is an elegant bottle of wine.  Honeyed, peachy, almost floral, nose.  On the tongue a terrific blend of apple, slight citrus, and honey. There’s a hint of oak, but it’s not overpowering.   [...]
