It’s been a few days since I last wrote anything.  Turns out that keeping a blog is a lot of work.  Go figure.  I have had friends staying with me last weekend, followed by a backpacking trip to Frontenac Park with my younger kids, and then my 16th anniversary to keep me occupied.

Last week I got involved in an interesting discussion with an investor in a local Ottawa company who asked whether I thought .NET would succeed.  I think the answer to that is an unqualified yes, and in Parsing .NET I’ve written down my thoughts on why.

August 17, 2002

This is nothing new.  Standard practice for a decade, and not unique to Microsoft either.  Cisco does this as well, and gosh, when I was at [...]
